The I-12 Alliance parishes are home to some of the highest quality schools in the state. Each parish offers a choice of both public and private elementary and secondary schools. St Tammany's school system is recognized as one of the best in the nation, named by Money Magazine as one of the top 100 school systems in the country's metropolitan areas. Businesses and residents in Livingston Parish cite the school system as one of the community's strongest assets. The region also offers excellent private school educational opportunities to interested students. The region also boasts access to a variety of excellent higher education institutions.
